The $2/minute charges apply from the time our engineer reaches the site.
Fixed Travel time of $60 is applicable to Brampton, Mississauga, Vaughn, Markham, and Toronto.
Travel time for all other areas is to be determined & applied based on the location.
Customer agrees to give access to the computers/servers for support upon our engineer's arrival.
DollarIT is not responsible for any issues resulting due to windows updates.
The computers under the contract must not be more than 5 years and servers not older than 7 years.
Physical moving of servers/computers/printers are not covered; however, we can lend a hand with help from your side.
DollarIT is not responsible of data loss due to any reason and under any circumstances. It is customer responsibility to make sure that the data is backed up and available for retrieval.
A backup might have to be saved if needed and the time spent is charged to the client.
While every possible attempt is made to save your data before any major action, it is your responsibility to check, review before you allow the tech to format, delete, or overwrite anything over hard drives, or any other device.
Most of the hardware failure and malfunctions become prominent when major data migrations or excessive I/O functions are performed while upgrades or service calls.
DollarIT is not responsible for replacing any of the hardware/software as a result of this. In this case when hardware software replacement becomes necessary, the customer is informed of the charge/s and price are provided.
For any Third-party software installation, the compatibility of software to the operating system and hardware requirements is customer responsibility and Dollar IT is not responsible for any problems arising due to these issues. The troubleshooting on these issues are also chargeable.
Coordinate with third party vendors like copiers or internet companies will be billed as per time bases unless otherwise indicated.
DollarIT is not responsible for any mistake done by the third-party vendors.
Time consumed for moving of Data from one location to another is dependent on data size, computer hardware, network and Internet speed.
For Computer installation and repairs, the computer needs to be updated to the current Windows patching and hardware firmware versions, time consumed for these is chargeable.
Any troubleshooting performed other than requested issue while servicing will be a part of the request made and is chargeable.
We are not responsible for internal working of Applications and Internet speeds in any respect.
All required usernames/Passwords should be readily available for support.
The computer serviced should have a valid Microsoft windows license and Microsoft office license.
Customer is responsible for saving of any new or changed passwords implemented in the support.
DollarIT is not responsible for your software license, proper login ID, passwords and contracts are required with software companies.
Any changes to be made will be agreed upon before the service.
Customer agrees to lend a hand when needed for physical work when needed for effective completion of the required support task.
The customer agrees to the time displayed by the clock for start and stop times. If the time display is incorrect due to any issue of computer, Internet etc., the actual elapsed time will be billed.
If the support must be paused because of any further requirements, the time elapsed will be billed at the respective price.
